International Coffee Tasting 2025 celebrates coffee: 21 Gold Medal assigned

The seventeenth edition of International Coffee Tasting, the international coffee competition organized by IIAC – International Institute of Coffee Tasters, held at Autogrill’s Factory Food Designer in Rozzano (MI), concluded with the awarding of the Gold Medals.

Gold Medal were awarded at International Coffee Tasting 2025, the international coffee competition organized by IIAC - International Institute of Coffee Tasters, following three days of sensory evaluation of products from various categories and countries. The awarded companies are: Altromercato, Beanpulse Coffee Roasters, Caffè Cagliari, Caffè Morandini, Camcaffè, De Quiet, Dersut Caffè, Il Griso, Lavazza, May House, Prinzberg, Torrefazione Caffè Gran Salvador, Torrefazione Caffè Avana, Torrefazione Comense Ticino Caffex, Torrefazione Goriziana. 

“International Coffee Tasting confirms its position as a neutral and completely independent testing ground: this edition features both multinational and very local companies among the awarded companies,” - commented Carlo Odello, president of IIAC - International Institute of Coffee Tasters - “Our completely blind evaluation method, with calibration of the sensory judges and statistical validation of the results, allows us to focus solely on the result in the cup, which is ultimately what truly matters to the consumer.”

Each participating company will receive the sensory profile of their competing product and ICT Benchmarks, the new tool that will allow companies to compare the sensory characteristics of their products with those of the Gold Medal winners and other products in the category. Furthermore, the best Gold Medal-winning products will be eligible for the Platinum Medal.
