MUMAC Academy, Gruppo Cimbali's Coffee Machine Academy, is a hub for coffee lovers and professionals promoting coffee culture and the ideal place to discover the latest trends. With a wide variety of courses led by internationally renowned instructors, MUMAC Academy supports professional growth within the industry and provides essential tools to enhance one's coffee skills.

The training program is divided into two categories: coffee and technology. Coffee training is an immersive program that includes some of the most authoritative training programs. MUMAC Academy is certified as one of the most prestigious venues for coffee tasting and knowledge. Technology courses are designed to teach the correct use of coffee machines and product transformation technologies to achieve the best results in the beverage.

In addition to training, MUMAC Academy conducts research into the phenomena that govern the process of transforming agri-food products into beverages, collaborating with various universities. The Academy boasts a multidisciplinary Scientific Committee chaired by Professor Luigi Bonizzi and composed of prominent members from the university and research fields. The Scientific Committee is the advisory and steering body that assists MUMAC Academy in encouraging research by proposing new lines of research on all things coffee, optimizing and validating training programs and the scientific objectivity of the Academy's activities, and fostering technical and scientific communication in the sector through conferences, workshops, and publications.

MUMAC Academy has opened branches and LABs to allow professionals and enthusiasts to join forces and spread coffee culture internationally. The five branches in London (UK), Krems (Austria), Barcelona (Spain), Paris (France), and Rome (Italy), certified by the headquarters, offer standardized services aligned with those of MUMAC Academy in terms of quality, space, and diversification of activities. The Academy also certifies the LABs, training centers located at Gruppo Cimbali distributor locations, with the aim of providing end customers nationwide with a network of trained professionals who are up to date on products, beverage extraction, and trends.

The training activities, coordinated by Silvia Vercellati, MUMAC Academy Manager, are led by trainers, coffee specialists, and ambassadors with high-level certifications in the coffee world: Alessandro Coda, Davide Roveto, Davide Spinelli, Luca Lasalandra, Fabiano Bucci, Manuela Fensore, Carmen Clemente, and Marina Carestia. Research activities are led by Filippo Mazzoni, Coffee Equipment Manager.
